  • Where is the cinema located?
    Cinéma du Musée is located at 1379-A, Sherbrooke West, Montreal (Quebec), H3G 1K3.
  • What are the closest metro stations to the cinema?
    You can exit at the Guy-Concordia station (green line), and walk the 450 metres between the subway station and the cinema.
  • What are the opening hours of the cinema?
    The doors open about 20 minutes before the first session of the day (around noon.), while they close about 20 minutes after the last session of the evening (around 10:00 p.m.).
  • What is a theater run by a not-for-profit corporation?
    The Cinéma du Parc is a social economy enterprise serving its community. Its title of non-profit organization refers to the mode of operation within its administration, to its mission and social commitments, and to the establishment of a board of directors that democratically oversees the issues and film goals.
  • Is the cinema accessible to people with reduced mobility?
    Yes, all rooms are adapted for people with reduced mobility.
  • Do you have a hearing aid system?
    Yes, the movie theater is equipped with hearing aids to improve the sound condition of screenings for the hearing impaired. These individual devices make watching a movie easier by boosting the volume through headphones. Inquire with the employees at the candy counter and at the ticket office during your visit for the loan of a device.
  • Can outside food be brought into the cinema?
    No, outside food is not accepted.
  • Is there parking near the cinema?
    No, you will have to park in the surrounding streets. Allow for extra time.
  • I have a question related to a recent experience at the cinema. Who should I contact?

  • Who do I contact to report a lost item?

  • How does the screening process work?
    A programming committee oversees the choice of films shown according to the works available for the big screen.
  • How do I know if the film I want to see will still be showing the following week?
    The programming of films is made by our programming team every Monday, according to new releases but also to the results and popularity of films already showing. The schedules for the new week starting on Friday are therefore posted on our website on Tuesday at the end of the day.
  • How do I submit a film to Cinéma du Parc?
    To be presented in public in our theatre, a Quebec distributor must have acquired the rights to the film. Please write to jeanfrancois.lamarche@cinemaduparc.com.
  • Why is your cinema announcing a film that it is not showing?
    The Cinéma du Parc hosts several special events that rent out its rooms throughout the year. The films presented are at the discretion of the events and these do not necessarily integrate the regular programming.
  • What are the current provincial film ratings and where can I get information about the sensitive content (sexuality, offensive language or violence) of a film?
    Just consult the website of the Ministry of Culture and Communications of Quebec.
  • What does "Awaiting classification" mean?
    This mention means that the film has not yet been seen and categorized by the Ministry of Culture and Communications of Quebec.
  • What ID is required to attend a performance of a film rated 13+, 16+ or 18+?
    All cards with photo and date of birth are accepted.
  • Why is the rating in the TV ads for this movie different from the rating listed at your theater?
    Television recommendations are from the CRTC (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission), and are for guidance only.
  • Where can I find information on room rentals?

  • Who should I contact for a room rental?

  • How much does a ticket cost ?

  • How can I buy tickets online?
    Just click on a blue ticket in the file of a film or go to the online ticketing. Choose the date, movie, time you want. Indicate the number of tickets, then enter your email address and click on “Next”. Select your seat(s) on the seating plan. Click on “Next”, then fill in your credit card information. Click on “Confirm”. You will receive a transaction receipt to confirm your purchase in your email account.
  • Can I buy pre-sale tickets through the online ticket office?
    Yes, when a screening is available for presale, you can purchase tickets online. All you have to do is select the date and screening of the film of your choice.
  • An online ticket purchase has been charged twice, or the amount is incorrect. What can I do about it?
    Write to direction@cinemaduparc.com making sure to mention the last four (4) digits of the credit card with which the transaction has been settled. You will be quickly contacted by an employee who will follow up with you.
  • Does the cinema have access to our banking information?
    No, only the last four (4) digits of the credit card used to make the transaction are visible.
  • How can I retrieve tickets booked online?
    Introduce yourself to the cinema ticket office or to the terminal provided for this purpose, at the entrance to the cinema. Have your transaction receipt on hand (no need to print it if you have it on your smartphone) or the credit card used during the purchase. Important: your receipt is not a ticket, you absolutely must exchange it for a ticket.
  • How do I know if a purchase has been processed successfully?
    You will receive a transaction receipt. If in doubt, write to direction@cinemaduparc.com, taking care to mention the last four (4) digits of the credit card with which the transaction was settled. You will be quickly contacted by an employee who will follow up.
  • Can tickets be purchased over the phone?
    No, tickets cannot be purchased over the phone.
  • Is there a discount for senior citizens?
    Yes, there is a discount for customers aged 65 and over. Proof of age may be required.
  • Is there a youth discount?
    Yes, there is a discount for young people aged 14 to 21. Proof of age may be required.
  • Is there a group discount?
    Yes, there is a discount for groups of 25 or more. For more information, write to the email address groupes@cinemabeaubien.com.
  • Where can I get a ciné-carte or a cinema gift card?
    You can get a cine-card or a gift card in two ways: directly at the cinema box office, or online through the online store.
  • Can cinema cards and cinema gift cards be exchanged for cash?
    No, Movie Cards and Movie Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Do movie cards and gift cards have an expiry date?
    No, movie cards and gift cards have no expiry date.
  • How many tickets can you buy for the same screening with a ciné-carte?
    A maximum of two (2) tickets for the same screening can be purchased with a cine-card
  • What happens if a movie card or gift card has been damaged, lost or stolen?
    The Cinéma du Parc cannot be held responsible for damaged, lost or stolen cards. Keep your card in a safe place.
  • Can several people use the same cine-card or gift card?
    Yes, the cards are not personal. However, a maximum of two (2) tickets for the same screening can be purchased with a cine-card.
  • Can a guest who resides outside of Canada purchase Movie Cards or Movie Gift Cards for friends or relatives living in Canada?
    Yes, the purchase can be made online via our online store.
  • Are Cinéma du Parc moviecards and gift cards accepted at Cinéma Beaubien and du Musée, and vice versa?
    Gift cards are accepted at all three cinemas. For cmoviecards: -If you have a cardboard moviecard with a barcode, it can be used in all three cinemas (on site, or on the websites). -If you have a plastic moviecard (old model), it is only valid in the cinema where you bought it.
  • What does "No pass" mean?
    This mention means that the passes offered during a promotion, a contest or during any other occasion will not be exchangeable at the box office counter for the said session.
  • What is the cinema's refund policy?
    At any time, you can get a ticket refunded up to 20 minutes after the start of a film.
