Les fermiers d'un village menacé par des bandits engagent un samouraï aguerri pour les protéger : pour se préparer au siège, celui-ci réunit six autres ronins pour se joindre à lui.

Le film sera présenté par Pascal Bastien, professeur au département d’histoire de l’Université du Québec à Montréal.
